Accommodation Terms and Conditions

  • (Scope of Application) Article 1. Contracts for accommodation and related agreements concluded between this hotel and guests shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally accepted practices. 2. In cases where the hotel agrees to a special agreement, provided it does not violate laws, regulations, or general practices, such special agreement shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.
  • (Application for Accommodation Contract) Article 2. Persons applying for an accommodation contract with this hotel shall provide the following information: (1) Guest name and phone number (2) Date of stay and estimated time of arrival (3) Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel 2. If a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date specified in Item 2 of the preceding paragraph, the hotel shall treat the request as an application for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made.
  • (Establishment of Accommodation Contract, etc.) Article 3. The accommodation contract shall be established when the hotel accepts the application as stipulated in the preceding article. However, this does not apply if the hotel proves it did not accept the application. 2. Upon establishment of the accommodation contract, the guest shall pay an application fee specified by the hotel, up to the amount of the basic accommodation charges for the stay, by the date specified by the hotel. 3. The application fee shall first be applied to the final accommodation charges payable by the guest. If circumstances arise as stipulated in Articles 6 and 18, it will be applied in the order of penalty charges, compensation, and any remaining balance refunded at the time of payment under Article 11. 4. If the application fee is not paid by the specified due date as stated in Paragraph 2, the accommodation contract shall lose its validity. However, this is limited to cases where the hotel has notified the guest of the due date in advance.
  • (Special Agreements Not Requiring Application Fees) Article 4. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the hotel may agree to a special arrangement that does not require payment of the application fee after the contract is concluded. 2. If the hotel does not request payment of the application fee under Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify a payment deadline, the hotel shall treat this as an acceptance of the special agreement.
  • (Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract) Article 5. The hotel may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases: (1) When the application does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. (2) When there are no available rooms due to full occupancy. (3) When the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to violate laws, public order, or morals regarding their stay. (4) When the person seeking accommodation is clearly identified as having an infectious disease. (5) When violent demands or unreasonable burdens exceeding reasonable limits are imposed regarding accommodation. (6) When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable circumstances. (7) When the person seeking accommodation is intoxicated or behaves in a manner causing significant disturbance to other guests, or has previously caused such disturbances (as stipulated by prefectural regulations). (8) When the person seeking accommodation is a member of or related to an organized crime group or other anti-social forces as defined by the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991). (9) When the corporation or organization seeking accommodation is controlled by organized crime groups or their members. (10) When the corporation's officers include members of organized crime groups. (11) When the applicant has made a reservation under false pretenses for profit, such as resale or paid mediation.
  • (Guest Registration) Article 8. Guests shall register the following information at the hotel's front desk (self-check-in system) on the day of arrival: (1) Guest name, age, gender, address, and phone number (or mobile number) and occupation (2) For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place, and date of entry (3) Date and time of departure (4) Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
  • (Room Usage Hours) Article 9. Guests may use the room from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival to 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. For consecutive stays, rooms can be used all day except for arrival and departure days. 2. The hotel may allow extended use of rooms beyond the hours specified in the preceding paragraph for the following additional fees: (1) Up to 2 hours: 30% of the room rate (2) More than 2 hours: 100% of the room rate
  • (Compliance with Rules of Use) Article 10. Guests shall comply with the rules of use established by the hotel, which are posted within the premises.
  • (Payment of Charges) Article 11. Accommodation charges and other fees payable by guests shall be based on rates individually agreed upon with the hotel. 2. Payment of such charges shall be made in cash, by credit card, or other acceptable methods at the time requested by the hotel. 3. If a guest chooses not to stay after the room has been made available, accommodation charges shall still apply.
  • (Hotel's Liability) Article 12. The hotel shall compensate guests for damages caused by the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements unless such damages are not attributable to the hotel's fault. 2. The hotel is insured with innkeeper's liability insurance to handle unforeseen incidents such as fire.
  • (Handling When Contracted Rooms Cannot Be Provided) Article 13. If the hotel is unable to provide the contracted room, it shall, with the guest's consent, arrange accommodations of equal or similar conditions elsewhere as much as possible. 2. If alternative arrangements cannot be made, the hotel shall compensate the guest with an amount equivalent to the penalty fee. However, this does not apply if the inability to provide a room is not attributable to the hotel.
  • (Handling of Deposited Items) Article 14. The hotel does not accept deposits of items, cash, or valuables from guests. Guests shall manage such items at their own risk and responsibility. 2. If damages occur to items brought into the hotel by guests due to the hotel's intentional acts or gross negligence, the hotel shall compensate for such damages. However, compensation for items without prior declaration of type and value shall be limited to 30,000 yen, except in cases of intentional acts or gross negligence by the hotel.
  • (Storage of Guest's Luggage and Belongings) Article 15. If a guest's luggage or belongings are left behind after checkout and the owner is identified, the hotel shall contact the owner and seek instructions. If no instructions are provided or the owner cannot be identified, the items shall be stored for seven days from the date of discovery before being delivered to the nearest police station. 2. The hotel's responsibility for storing luggage or belongings under the preceding paragraph shall comply with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article.
  • (Guest's Liability) Article 16. Guests shall compensate the hotel for any damages caused intentionally or through negligence by the guest.

  • 2.In the case of shortened contract periods, one day's worth (first day) of cancellation fees shall apply regardless of the number of shortened days.
  • 3.For reservations made via booking sites, the cancellation fees specified on each booking site shall take precedence.
